Like you don’t understand. asdfghjklkjhgf I just can’t even with this scene. There’s feels on sooo many different levels. At first I was upset that he looked so angry when he proposed but it wasn’t until after I kept staring at this that I realized that I was way off. HIS EYES TELL A DIFFERENT STORY. Just look at the way that they basically spew vulnerability. They practically look watery, like he’s pleading & hoping that she accepts him with her regardless of whichever path Beckett decides to take- Because YES. Like a complete gentleman he makes this about her. He doesn’t hand her an ultimatum. He hands himself and his heart to her. It’s not him vs her career… It’s her with him or without him, for better or worse. Like many other men he’s truly taking a huge risk by putting himself out there and proposing, but more so because it’s RICHARD CASTLE ASKING KATE BECKETT the woman that he’s been helplessly devoted to for over 4 years. Third Time’s The Charm for him lets hope he’s her One & Done.
Yes, yes, you can see it. The vulnerability there. He’s determined here. But his eyes tell you he’s scared. Kudos Nathan!
